The path to the Piona Abbey

An easy hike leading to the Piona Abbey

The Piona Abbey is a former Cluniac monastery famous for its beautiful Gothic Romanesque cloister built during the thirteenth century. The walk that from Colico leads to the abbey has a beautiful view over the Piona Bay and the Montecchio Sud. This is a path suitable for everyone and quite easy because, even if it is 7 Km long, it is flat for most of the time.
