The Mount Legnoncino (1.714 m), Mount Legnone little brother, gives the opportunity to enjoy a peaceful and easy hike, ideal also for families with children.
To get to the mount summit, you have to drive till Refuge Roccoli-Lorla, in Tremenico. From there, you can either go to Mount Legnoncino or Mount Legnone. By following the western ridge through a mule track, you arrive at this little balcony over the Como Lake: the top of Legnoncino. From there you have a beautiful view of the entire lake and all the little and typical villages, as well as of the Mount Rosa.
On the way back, it is impossible not to stare at the majestic Mount Legnone and, on a clear day, you can also spot the crucifix shining on the top.
