About Us

We are a family-run farm on Lake Como — but above all, we are passionate about our land and our roots.

Like many families in Colico in the early 1900s, our great-grandfather Aristide raised animals and cultivated grapevines on the Montecchio Sud promontory for his family’s own use. In his farmhouse — the same one we now use for our wine tastings — you can still breathe in the authentic passion for nature that he passed down. Just think: the original stone terraces at “Risti,” built entirely by hand, are still standing today!

Wine Tasting Program at the Pinot Noir Vineyard

The meeting point for this unforgettable experience in Colico is the parking area at Piona Beach, where guests are picked up by the Azienda Agricola del Risti shuttle. The adventure begins with this short ride… and a surprise awaits!

As guests walk among the vineyard rows, they’ll learn all the secrets of the grapevine’s lifecycle, discover what makes this land ideal for cultivating Pinot Noir, and hear the fascinating story of Risti — the great-grandfather who started it all.

Under a shaded pergola, the wine tasting begins: two glasses of fine Valtellina wines and two wines from Lake Como, paired with generous boards of local cured meats and cheeses. Guided by the expertise of our sommelier Andrea, participants explore tasting techniques, food and wine pairings, and insights into the world of viticulture.

The experience is enriched by friendly conversation and a warm, welcoming atmosphere shared with others who, like them, have chosen Azienda Agricola del Risti for an authentic vineyard tasting in the heart of Lombardy.

At the end of the experience, guests are brought back to the Piona Beach parking area — with a promise to meet again soon.
