- From Piazza Garibaldi to Baia di Piona
This flat itinerary starts from the centre of Colico and takes you to the Bay of Piona, surrounded by a green meadow with a dreamlike atmosphere. We start from Piazza Garibaldi, looking at the lake we head to the left and follow the path along the lakefront. Continue to Lido di Colico where we turn left and continue to the underpass. Turn right into Via dei Ciacc, a paved road with limited traffic of about 2 km. At the end of this road we turn right and continue to the beach of Piona. A magical place to let your children rest in the shade of the trees or to let them play on the large lawn by the lake. At the end of the beach, a delicious ice cream stand awaits you.
Now that you have rested, you can return to the centre of Colico with the same itinerary as the outward one.
We recommend it because it is also perfect for children who move their first steps.

2. Sentiero Valtellina

A bike path entirely dedicated to those who want to walk or cycle without thinking about the danger of cars.
The starting point is Ontano beach, where we filled ourselves with a hearty breakfast to start our itinerary. From the beach we find the signs that indicate “Sentiero Valtellina”, from here on free your mind, and your children! You will rediscover the tranquility of a walk without worries and surrounded by nature! Yes, because whenever you want you can decide to take a break and admire the swans swimming along the Adda River. Pick up some daisies and take home the memory of your holiday in Colico.
We recommend it because it is completely flat and winds along the Adda River. Nature will be the only thought of this day. It is suitable for everyone both bybike and on foot and of course with your faithful stroller. We recommend you to discover it in spring when the first flowers bloom or in autumn when the trees drop their leaves.
3. Lungolago di Colico (from Ontano to Lido)
Less than 2 kilometers to discover Lake Como up close, fascinating at any hour of the day, we recommend this walk at sunset. The magic transmitted by the sun disappearing below the water level will be one of the most beautiful memories of your holiday in Colico.
At sunset do you prefer to have an aperitif in one of the bars of the square? In the afternoon, near Ontano beach you can admire the glittering colours of the kitesurfing sails and in the square you can watch the boat docking. Do you need any more excuses to discover the lake so close? Go along this route eating a good homemade ice cream, wearing a hat and sunglasses and rest on one of the benches in the square. A simple itinerary starting from Lido di Colico, admire the lake and its small beach and head to the right, just follow the lakefront. We continue on the sidewalk and reach the pier, here you can see the boats docking and other tourists who, like you, are discovering the lake. Cross the square and turn left, to reach the footbridge on the lake. We continue to the nautical center and, if you are thinking of a boat trip, here you can find electric or motor boat rentals. Right here there is a unique playground, one of the largest in the whole lake. Take a break and letyour children free to explore all the games. We cross Cariboni Park to enter Ontano Beach. If you are passionate about beach volleyball, you can book the court and challenge yourself to a game. We have reached the end of the itinerary, why not enjoy an aperitif or a snack on the beach?
We recommend it to discover the main square of Colico, which is wonderful in every season. We suggest you take a sweater with you if you decide to do this route to work off dinner. The lake breeze in the evening is cool and pleasant after a day spent sunbathing on the beach.
