TTG RIMINI – LAKE COMO EXPERIENCE / ENG
TTG Travel Experience is the leading Italian event for the promotion of world tourism in Italy and for the marketing of Italian tourism in the world. It attracts operators from all over the world and key players from the main companies in the tourism sector.
TTG Travel Experience is one of the most important B2B trade fairs dedicated to the tourism industry, with 60 countries represented and more than 1000 exhibiting companies. The mission of Lake Como Experience is to meet with national and foreign tour operators, with the aim of making our territory known all over the world. Already dozens of appointments on the agenda and many more operators who will be welcomed in the stand.
A collaboration strongly desired by all the administrations, with the aim of training all the tourist offices and Infopoint on the whole of Lake Como. Training and collaboration that will continue beyond the fair, hoping that other municipalities and administrations will join the project started in 2020.
Many efforts to bring to the TTG of Rimini the whole of Lake Como, to make known the beauties and peculiarities of all the villages and cities that overlook our lake.

Colico
Colico is the furthest city on Lake Como. The main attractions are Piona’s Abbey, Montecchio-nord and Fuents fortresses and the Fontanedo tower. Thanks to the constant wind, called “Breva”, Colico is the best place for doing watersports. Colico i salso the starting point for cycling paths to Valtellina, Valchiavenna and the west-side of the lake.

Dorio
A must to do in Dorio is a walk between the tight streets of the historic centre. The ancient village is famous because of its landscape. The beaches, located near the inhabited area, are the main attractivies of Dorio. They offer quite and relaxing corners. Bumped from the Lario’s winds, Dorio offers the possibility to practice sailing spots.
Dervio
A beautiful peninsula on the east shore of Lake Como, is a unique position between the lake and mountains, paradise for water-sports and sailing. You can enjoy historical and culture attractions like the Orezia Tower and the picturesque medieval village of Corenno Plinio.

Bellano
Located between the lake and Muggio mountain, Bellano is famous for the Orrido, a natural gorge dug excavated by the Pioverna river. It is an obligated stage on “Sentiero del Viandante” path and is also the location where the novels, written by Andrea Vitali, one of the most famous writers of this fantastic town of the lake, are based. It i salso well-known, the historical revocation of the “Pesa vegia”.

Varenna
The village of Varenna is characterized by the central Piazza San Giorgio and by a network of districts with suggestive views of the lake. Varenna is especially known for its ancient mansions, with luxuriant gardens such as the splendid “Villa Cipressi” and “Villa Monastero”. In the Fiumelatte hamlet flows the shortest river in Italy.

Perledo
The main attraction is the Vezio Castle, an ancient military outpost from the Middle Age. It was built to defend and control the lake and the surrounding villages. Today the castle has a tower encircled by a wall, basements, the statues in the garden, the “ghosts” and rapacious from the falconry center.

Lierna
Lierna is small village between the lake and mountains, it’s called “small pearl of Lario”. Points of interest are the Genic mill from the XVII Century and Sant’Ambrogio Church with its romanesque bell tower. It’s famous for its beautiful beaches like Riva Bianca and Punta Di Grumo. Lierna is one of the most panoramic stages of the Viandante path.

Mandello del Lario
From the slopes of “Grigna” until Lake Como, Mandello is along the “Sentiero del Viandante” path. Points of interest are Barbarossa Tower and San Giorgio Church (XII-XIII Century). The village has developed around the historic “Moto Guzzi”, an expression of Lombardy’s virtuous craftsmanship.

Abbadia Lariana
His name comes from a Benedectine abbey, built in the VIII Century; now only traces remain. Abbadia has a lot to offer: trails in the underwood and to reach mountains’ peaks, various historical centers and many beaches or “Sentiero del Viandante”.
